Does anyone knows how to upload my profile photo?

When i registered in mylot i didnt prepeared well to show my photos in mylot because of my inside nature.Now I had melted into this interesting community and took it as my homeplace.I want to show my photos to other friends but afther i uploaded my photos in the section named photos,my profile picture still shows nothing ,whats wrong with me?Can anyone explain how should i do to get it?
