Did You Check/Turn Off Your Cook Stove Before Going To Sleep?

My mom always turn off and check our cookstove before going to sleep.She always tell everyone of our family to do it as a habit for safety. She cant sleep well if she knows that she forgot on checking it off.One middle in the morning,when i went to the comfort room,i find her checking our cook stove because she said she wasnt able to check and turn it off before going to sleep.. Do you have the habit like this??
