What will u do if.....ur dad and mom get divorced? which one that u prefer u will come with as a child?

My parents are divorced, never was a problem for me, though you probably need to see both your mom and your dad as i had the chance to.

I hope this doesn't happen at all. But if it would, I think I'd go with my mom. But if the cause is a 3rd party, I'd go to that 3rd party and make his/her life a living hell, literally.

i believe u will have the grace if that happen in ur life. remember just pray and forgive them. i know it's difficult. but..it can be tried:)

My mom and dad got divorced when I was three. I lived with my mom until I was 5, then I went to live with my dad until I was 15. From 15 on, I have pretty much lived on my own.

Since I am closed to my mother then I would rather go with her. But thank God, they never separated even to the last breath of my father.

It is a hypothetical question for me because in India divorce rate is still very low, but if it did occur then of course I would stay with my mom because she would need me more.

because she is emotionally more vulnerable and if they had a divorce it would not be her idea. In India, women from their generation are not very liberated, the present woman can handle a divorce but not the older ones.

I would probably go with my Dad if in case I'm still a kid. But now that I'm old enough, I would probably still go with my Dad but since I don't want to hurt my Mom, I would rather choose to live alone (or with my boyfriend lol). I'm very lucky to have both in my life and they're still together. That's a very good blessing. But I can't imagine if it came true.
