Are you planning a trip this summer? I want to go to the beach for two weeks, but haven't desided yet where to go. What about you? Are you going to do something interesting this summer?

Well my home is in the USA - my mans home is in the UK where we currently are. We usually go to the USA every summer but since my man is awaiting a major surgery we are planning on going to the USA is late September or early October. We will be there until late January. We are hoping to make a trip to Southern Texas - Gulf coast area while we are there to look for a house and hopefully move there full time. The last time we spent Christmas in the USA my kids gave us a trip to Florida as a Christmas gift, so we might be off on a surprise trip again when we are there. I sure hope so.

We will be heading to Ft. Lauderdale in 2 weeks. We drive from NY so it is a long drive to get there! We are staying in Ft. Lauderdale for 4 nights and then boarding a cruise ship to the Bahamas. We cruise to the Bahamas in the evening, wake up the next morning and we are there. Then we spend the day in the Bahamas and in the evening get back on the cruise ship and head back to Florida. Then back to NY. I love the beach and try to plan a trip to the beach every year.

I will definitely let you know about our trip. It was a great deal so I am a bit concerned about the quality of the places we will be staying. Oh well, it is a vacation!

Here in our place summer is over. But next summer me and my friends are planning to go on vacation to Boracay. Next May will be end of our contract and we want to have some bonding before we get back to work.
