Do you have your teeth cleaned every 6 months?

I have to leave for my cleaning in a few minutes. They let me know that I haven't been in for over a year. Oops! Not so good of an example for my kids. It is hard to get in because i have to take them with me and I know I have a few cavities so I have been avoiding them. Not a good idea. I guess I hae to deal with it now.

When I was growing up I was terrified of the dentist. It seemed like I always had cavities when I went. Being a mom, I am now a freak about oral hygene. I go to the dentist every 6 months and I have my kids go every 6 months. When they fight me about it, I tell them that they don't want to have a mouth full of fillings like I have. It is important to set an example for your children regarding going to the dentist. I feel for you having to bring your kids to your appointment with you, that has to make it much harder.
