To graduate with honors or enjoy your schooling with friends?

students - Being a student is one best thing that could happen to a person. It's learning and fun time! Students, never upset your parents with your grades okay? But also never forget to enjoy life with friends and good people. Balance everything.

If I pause right now - from where I am and what I have become now, to recall my college days I would smile and laugh silently for all the unruly things I have done while in school. I was in the short list of honor students until my 3rd year... no, my second year when I got removed from the list. I didn't do well with my academic performance when I reached my 3rd year. There was no regret on my part but my parents were so upset. If I could clearly recall it, I didn't ever compete or even wanted to compete with any of the students. I don't care about academic merits. I know I still do well with my subjects only I did not give me best. I was so busy with my co-curricular activities that I didn't pay enough attention to my studies. I've been reprimanded by my professors many times but never did I hid them. I graduated without failing grades, still with 1.25 grades but not with honors - I got 3 in some of my subjects hehehe (Grrr.. I suck in math and physics!). My parents told me I may not be able to find a job easily but they're wrong cos I did not long after I graduated. Now, do I have regrets to graduate without honors? Hmmm... I don't. I have enjoyed my college days so much - I was free to do everything i wanna do - join the dance troupe, join in modelling and local pageants, spend time in white-sand beaches, enjoy my friends, meeting people and eat a lot instead of studying under the tree every wee hours I have=). My social skills is very much developed - makes me become sensitive with people and the environment. But am not saying you boys and girls wouldn't do well in your studies. No, that's wrong. Cos if am given a chance to go back to those years, I would balance my student life - my academics and curricular. Also, I wanna say please make your parents proud of you -my parents are proud of me even though they weren't able to march on stage to put my medals on but they know I still did well in my studies (somehow hehe) but I wish I have rewarded their efforts and hardsips in sending me to school. Well I wanna hear what contemporary students wanna achieve, or there is? Do you strive to graduate with honors? Or just let things happen and enjoy whatever will come?

hmp... i started my highschool thinking nothing about my future... i make sure that my HS days are always full of happiness with friends and i want to do anything that comes from my mind. 2 years after having so much fun and wasted days learning nothing... i face the real world of all students... i strive hard to change my image andmy character... so... i become a famous student leader of our school... my parents and everyone including my self become proud of my accomplishments... i do not go often to my classmates hangouts coz i've got plenty of paper works to fininsh... but that's the only way that made my parents happy. after highschool or during my college times, i tried to balance my studies and my friends... but, it seems so difficult for me... sometimes i think i have to choose which one i can REALLY enjoy my life...hahai

I would rather enjoy my school years with friends because you only get to do it once. I am still in highschool and i love to just enjoy it. i'm not so worried about gettin an a but rather than passing that class. I think life is too short to be serious all the time and to worry about little details. I remember last year a girl started crying because she got a b instead of an a. I was thinking wat a whinny person. I was just happy to get a d.

I wouldn't cry over a C - my mom will hehehe. Is the d equivalent to 4? COz in our grading system 4 is equivalent to INCo (incomplete). Anyway, just keep on enjoying life, I know it's too short to be spent on all serious stuff but studying is both fun and serious. Just balance everything rayrat ;-).Blessings to you.

Hello kriz!(",) I did enjoy my high school and college days!(",) I am so happy that I was able to balance my academics and extracurricular activities. I did graduate with honors during college and received several non-academic awards. The important thing is that you have enjoyed your life to the fullest and learned lessons from it. It's a good thing that you were able to have a gob quickly. Congratulations!(",) Now, I understand why its better to be a student than working on your own.hehehe. Have a great day and may God continue to shower you with so much blessings!(",)
