As an Ecuadorian who watches games on cable, I might be way off, but I do know the players, and hope to see the Leafs win the cup next season. I think there is not a good enough team to win it all. Please comment.

I believe we definitly have a chance this year cas we just signed Jason Blake who is a perfect fit amongst the Leafs and now we have some solid goaltending

Blake is a good player. Who is the solid goalie you mentioned? I haven't check the latest news on Leafs new players, so I really don't know. Are you from Toronto?

Yes I am from Toronto and the solid goaltender is Vesa Toskola

It's nice to "talk" to somebody from Toronto. I have seen play Andrew Raycroft. I know Vesa Toskala is from Finland, but I haven't seen him play yet. I wish the Leafs win the cup next season. Go Leafs!!

Absolutely, put Jason Blake on this team last year, and we're in 7th place, possibly 6th - which would pit us against the weakest division winner in the first round of the playoffs. The Leafs with Blake could have beaten the Thrashers this year in Round 1. We have yet to make a signing which makes this team WORSE this year, the extra 6 million in cap space can only help.

That's probably a long-shot. I'll be fair and give them a 5-7% chance of winning the Cup. Ideally, they'll finish 6th and face the weakest division winning team.

There's lots of hope if they know how to play properly next season. They have always suffered with injuries and such things but we need steady goal tending so let's hope that Toskala is a good goalie and I think he's going to beat Raycroft for the number 1 spot for the goalie.
