What do you want in life for your children???

Well I want them to be happy, healthy and loved. I dont want them to be rich and famouse. That would be wonderfull but I want them to be happy in what ever they choose. Money and fame mean nothing without a family to love and support you. I want them to have a good education where they take it is up to them. If they want to be a doctor, lawyer, dentist, Waiter, garbage man, mail carrier....I will encourage and help as much as I can. I want them to have a good job and a family someday. Then They can experiance the joys of being a parent.
My question to you is what do you want in life for your children???

When I have my children (I hope I have kids), I'll want them to be rich enough to live well. I will educate them, and help them getting a good job. I will respect their choices, even if their choices are against my concepts. I will respect if they become homossexuals, or if they don't want to marry, or this kind of thing. I won't force them to do anything.
I'll introduce them to many different things, and see if they have a vocation. I'll introduce them to music, to art, to soccer, to sports, and etc.
My first priority is making them happy. I'll also teach them how to respect others and then, teach them how to fight for their objectives.

I feel the same way. I will respect there choices in life no matter what. I also want to show my kids as much as possible. The more they do now and learn the better off they will be later in life.

Oh, yeah, teaching them a lot about life, so they won't have any future problems due to lack of knowleadge. I don't want my children to be Einsteins (I'd like if they were), but I don't want them to be stupid, neither.

well I dont have kids now but when or if I do have kids someday I would want them to be healthy because that is the most important thing to me if there healthy I would want them to be well off and not be poor I would want them to live in a good neighborhood and go to a good school so they can have a good education which is very important to me.

When my son was 5, not even in kindergarten yet, he says, "When I grow up I want to be a quantum mathematician." And I am Like, Hold the phone, where is the dictionary? I did not know what quantum meant....I never really had any specific thing in mind as to what I wanted them to be....I just wanted them to be happy and healthy and eventually move out...HA HA...I am very proud of my children and I don't care what they do as long as they are happy....

????Same like your wish Copperkitten. I have a son 1 year old. I want him to be artist. Because I love many art: Music, Painting, Actor, Author whatever he like to be.
