How do you brighten your piece of the world?

here in mylot, i do that by making sure i respond to 'discussions with no responses' and try to respond as kind as i would. at home i do that by playing with my son most of the time and telling him his favorite stories. i do that by spending quality time with my husband, writing him loveletters or poems. here in the office, i do that by sharing my life, both good or bad, so that i can try to be friends with my colleages.
and of course, i brighten my piece of the world by sharing my person, my best gift.

Your answer is appropriate for the question. I took this from an old church song called "Brighten the Corner Where You Are." It talks about how we can each improve the place we live by helping others, being cheerful and friendly, etc. I always thought it was good advice. Most of us will never change the world, but if each person worked at improving their own little space, we'd end up with a truly marvelous world. Thanks for responding.
