Is it really worth selling on ebay?

There are so many things of one thing, how do you know if your stuff will sell..... i have a bunch of junk, they won't sell at garage sales or markets! have any other online sites that sell junk?

Things that will not sell on a grage sale problably will not sell realy good on ebay

The key is research. Check to see what your items are selling for on Ebay, and then decide what you want to list.

It depends on what kind of junk you are talking about. Collectibles sell quite well on Ebay, even thought to some they may appear to be junk. I've been selling on Ebay for years now. I've learned to watch the auctions to see what is selling well. I also try to be competitive with my own prices and shipping and handling expenses without losing any money. It's true that you have to pay a listing fee with Ebay, but so far I have made more money than I have paid in listing fees so it's worth it for me to keep my Ebay business. If you have used books, CDs, DVDs, gently used clothing items, especially kids' clothing, then you can do quite well. It's free to sign up and all you need is a paypal account.
