what is your experience getting nails hair done, and haircuts at the beauty schools. Has this been a good experience for you or not?

I don't but my best friend does it all the time. She is very happy about her haircut....as long as you the boss and they cut your hair the way you like it...

For me it's not coz I don't have the talent. But I know it will really help and it will earn a lot of money.

The one near us is really good and does a good job. The only thing I have learned is usually your hair ends up shorter then you originally intended. Reason for this is because they student cuts it to where you want it and then the teacher comes over to check and they always touch up an area or two and thus it goes down a bit more. So from now on I learn to say a bit longer then I want and it turns out right. The one near me also does nails and they are great. So they can be worth it. It all depends on the one near you.

when i was in beauty school, it was all real basic stuff. It was mostly just rules and regs and saftety and sanitaion. we worked on each other and little old ladies. there was really no training as far as how to really style hair. we all got out and were lost and none of us really learned how to do hair until we got our first job. Back then beauty school didn't teach you nothing. I hear they're better now but if i wanted some serious styling done i would go to an experienced stylist.
