Would you be happy being a bench player for a Professional Sports Team?

How many of you would be satisfied with being a bench or role player for a pro team? Would you cause a fuss about playing time? I know that I would not mind being a bench player as they make more money than I do and you get to meet star players as well as get to play some minutes. You also get to travel around. It would be nice to play more and make even more money but being a bench player would make me happy too. :-)

I wouldn't mind sitting on the bench either Ken..I think, like you said ..seeing the world would be fun.. Just think just for sitting down dressed in a uniform you are making a million or two.. I don't believe they can ever use all the money they make;)+

Amazingly enough many athletes have blown their money on materialistic things so it is not hard for them to do that. If I was making that kind of money, I would be more conservative. I would do some nice shopping but not blow all of it. Bench players make nice money.

I wouldn't have to be a bench player. I could be a bench warmer. I would make sure they had a nice warm seat to sit in when they wanted one, hehe. That would be great to have a job like that, even better to get paid. hehe.

I'd love to play off the bench! Even if I was good enough to be in the D-League and signed 10 or 15 day contracts every now and then when someone got hurt. I'd do it in a second! I'd take it a step further and say I wouldn't mind being on the practice team...

I would feel pretty good being a bench player for a professional sports team. You can make loads of money to keep a seat warm for a real star. The league minimum in the NBA is about $350,000 a year. I would gladly take that for being the star of the practice squad.

I wouldn't mind sitting on the bench as long as I still got that big check. So what if you arent actually playing in the field you are still part of the team and give your time and effort.

I wouldn't mind at all, as long as I was part of a professional team then that is more than exciting. I hope by the following year though if I have proved my worth, to actually get to play a game or two.
