I was just wondering how long you think until Mylot reaches 100,000 members. Since I have joined it has gone up about...7,000-9,000. It has been steadily climbing right now, and it is getting so close to the 100,000 mark! But I'm just curious when that's going to happen.

I am even more curious as to how many of those numbers are active users or even valid users. You read about people being banned and then they somehow come back again and again. Does that just raise the number to a false level of users? I wish myLot would have a number showing how many people are online at the time. That could actually give an idea of the number of users there are active compared to just the number continuing to climb.

I never thought about all the inactive users! Good point. I think if someone is banned and then comes back they won't raise the number. Because either the person is coming back to the same user name or their's got deleted and had to make a new one, which still counts just as one. I would really love it too if they showed how many users and which one's were online, that would be great!

When a person is banned, their old screen name is not deleted. It is rendered restricted or unusable. I have seen profiles just turn into being the person appearing as if they are inactive because they got banned. Once a user name is used, it can not be used again and therefore if that banned user comes back...the community number is increased.

Oh I see! That makes sense then. And it def. gives a fake user number, they should fix that to give accurate numbers for their active users.

Before the end of the with week I guess it will reach 100,000. It's a milestone achievement for a paying forum I guess.

Well, it's not really 100,000 because some users are banned but they are being counted as regular users. like myself. my other account still appears in the list.

Now it says 99,117 so you can imagine... I think about a week. With all that referral career of us, it would be easy. But there are also gone mylotters so maybe a bit more slow. Anyways, I guess it would be better for us to be not so many but more active ones!

Hello LilyoftheThorns!:-) I think that they will cross 100,000 mark in just a week or so. They haven't, however, these many members actually available or active. There were around 83,000 users when I joined here on mylot about a little more than 3 months ago and Since then they have already got 16,000 users. Sharp rise has been in previous 2 months with contests running especially during the video contest time, they got more than 6000 users then. I have only 79 friends on my list here. more around 15 of them have already left mylot (making it around 20%). Then there are many who logon on irregular intervals. It would be quite interesting if we could know how many users are actually online so that one can have idea about actual activity.
