Nimitz's visited to India

Hi all,
On 30th June I read a small news in local newspaper that US Aircraft carrier has on 4 day visit to India.
This was good news coz it implies increasing relationship between India and US. But the news is that the ship was carrying nuclear missile. I dont know the truth coz news was very short. So does anybody have an Idea about it?

The Nimitz would certainly be carrying nuclear tipped missiles for the aircraft but this is quite different from nuclear warheads. A US aircraft carrier in your region is generally not a good sign. The US only maintains a carrier group in areas that are deemed to be trouble oriented.
