Losing your sense of smell can be a sign of Altzheimers

I read in my morning newspaper that there is confirmed links between the loss of smell and altzheimers..They same some common smells that you will not be able to pick up are cinnamon, lemon or orange.. Have you seen this topic discussed?

Altzheimers is a horrible disease..that is wild about the scents being a first signs..I have heard of this girl that is in her late 30's having it..from what I read she couldn't find her way to and from her Doctors office..the same doctor she has had her whole life..it seems in her family there were 6 people who had a type of dementia..
