Bombs and things

Watching the story of the car bomb that was detected in England a few days ago has really freaked me out. Although I don't live in England, it's terrifying to think that a bomb can go off anywhere, anytime. Luckily modern intelligence can stop this happening but what if one day the intelligence isn't intelligent enough? Have you let this modern day threat affect your life? Do you stay as far out of the main cities as possible? I don't think about it when I travel to the city centre but I wonder if I should. How do you feel about it?

I used to live in London and now live in Birmingham in the UK. Both cities have been targetted by bombers and on each occasion we have put in place extra security and carried on with daily life. I guess I feel as safe as I can, I certainly don't allow these fanatics to stop me travelling in the cities, after all, if we all did that then they would have won and we would have given in to terrorism.

No way!! shut these dramas and stop killing innocent peoples, the american and european leaders[not people, they r innocent in general]

That's an interesting theory about Brown. It did happen just as he was sworn in. Who knows,,

I think the fact that these bombs did not go off is testement to the fact that our intelligence services are amongst the best on earth. It will take one clever bomber to get past this lot and have not managed it yet. We have suvived 7 serious attempts to bomb us, but not one has got through blessed be

I don't stay out of big cities. The odds of it happening to me are slim. I lived through the Murrah Bombing in 1995 and what we all learned is that you can't stop living your life. What is going to happen is out of my hands, and all I can do is stay alert.

I refuse to let a little hand full of creeps run my life. I will go where I want to when I want to. If I had the money I would go to England. I would love to see that country.
