I like the flavor that charcoal gives but I have to say that gas is easier to cook with.

I love grilled food! We have a gas grill now, but previously had a charcoal grill. To me, the foods taste pretty much the same on both grills. I do however, miss roasted marshmallows! We can't roast them on the gas grill, and every once in a while I'd really like a marshmallow! I can't wait for when we can go camping, just so I can get the marshmallows! I'm suddenly in the mood for barbecue chicken....

I prefer charcoal because of the flavour it gives to the food. It's difficult to control, but I still prefer it.

I generally prefer to have my food grilled over gas. This is partly because when I eat food that has been cooked on charcoal with a lot of lighter fluid, I get very sick. My friends mostly learned to cook without lighter fluid, but I still prefer gas, because I know I will be able to eat it no matter what.

We have a charcoal grill but only because when we were shopping for them charcoal was cheaper. I also like the flavor that charcoal leaves on the food.

My husband uses woodand I love it. Everything has a really good flavor and it dosen't take 2 hours to start. If I was to choose between gas and charcol though I would have to say gas just because it's easier to just get it done.
