I do, I do :)
For me it is a recharging time, where I can let go of stress and just enjoy. I can breathe better and all my sense seem to come alive.
The noise? I could so do without it LOL UNfortunately it's not as easy as all that while leaving in such a big city.
WHen the kids finish their studies, and have - hopefully by then - their own lives me and hubby would like to move to a smaller city and enjoy the quiet :)

The city I live in is not that large..but it's still a bit noisier then I would like.. I would live in the country..with just a few neighbors miles apart.;) +

I know what you are saying..you want to be close enough to jump back into the noise if you get homesick for it. I know I miss the quiet when I go out..Shopping and other chores are always burdensome..because most of the time it's full of noise and craziness;)+

The funny thing is that I always lived in big cities filled with noise and confusion, but I always craved the opposite even when I was younger.
My perfect setting would be far enough from the big city to be able to enjoy the peace and nature, but still close enough to go there if I missed the movement and fast pacing life ( although I'm not sure why I would want to hehehehe)

Yes I think walking through natures gives me a sense of peace and quiet, also when I was a little girl my Dad used to go rabbiting and sometimes we kids would go with him but just stay by the car and we used to go walking around the countryside and these days going for walks in the country brings back a lot of memories for me...

It is a beautiful feeling when one is with nature..isn't it? I love the smells and quiet moments that enable me to hear sounds that the city crowds out with all it's noise and business;)+

I like the sounds of the birds in the country, they are different to the doves and pigeons in the city, I just love the sound.

You are so right. It's hard to pick up the sounds of any birds in the city..you have to have a really good ear to hear them:)+

I also love nature. I like to go to the country and in the evening, listening only to the sound of the crickets, the birds and the near by cattle, watch the horizon when the sun hides. But I don't think I would like to live there the whole year. Some noisy town and some silent country, that would be the best combination for me.
