Do you think courtship still important!I noticed that people who like each other dont need courtship no more. Giving gifts, like chocolates, flowers, stuff toys and many more... Does your partner court you before you say "i love you too"...

I think it still does, but not as the same level or degree as courtship was before (in the times of our parents and grandparents). These days, most of the times though the words still exist, the act of being together all the time is now considered courtship. Some even say that it is 'understood' that if you are always together and the girls didn't stop you from going with her, then that's it. On the other hand, even girls court men these days! They go to the men and even his house. Sad but true. As for me, courtship was composed of being together all the time, talking about things. Just showing your true self as a friend. Then after a few months, him asking me if it would be ok that I won't see anyone else. Then I answered 'yes'. Than that's it. He's my partner. But even though it may seem fast, until this very date, he is still somewhat 'courting' me. Maybe it depends on the person/persons involved. What saddens me is the fact that relationships come and go too quickly. And both find new partners and the cycle goes on. I'd wish that though it would start quick, they'd find time to really know the person and not just quit when the things are tough. By the way, he told me he loves me a few weeks after I said 'yes' and I did to after a few weeks more. Cute isn't it? and now the very words cling to my heart as if it was the first time ever said, each time. I truly love him. =)

No, I think I still need courtship. Some guys I meet they are not suitable with me in thoughts, feelings and many things, but it is very difficult to say goodbye after we say "i love you". Thus, I think it's better to court before say these words.

It won't matter to others because as long as you're happy with each other and you both love each other why does it need to court up when you guys have the same feeling.
