LOL... my fiancee is a darling, his name is Scott and he works as a builder, but is being promoted in January to running the business... He is hard working, sweet, loyal, loving, caring and the most devoted fatehr I could possibly have ever imagined. I adore him and am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him...

hey I'm planning my wedding too! We're not doing favors. We're having silk flowers instead of real. And we're not paying for the bridesmaids dresses. Oh and go to theknot.com it's a life saver!

great i'll check it out. my bridesmaids are paying for their dresses themselves too... I've price both silk and real flowers and wheer i am there isnt a substantial difference, or else i have a great florist :D i thought of not doing favours i think we are just gonna stick one chocolate on each placecard (25cents each* fifty guests=pretty cheap)... thanks for the hints... whens your big day???

Thats depend on your own earning and living spnding very much.As for me I will try to save for 20 to 30% from my earning and will want my partner start his/her saving as well and set a time frame that so that you can monitor your saving over your budget.

i know that this sounds slightly childish, but a swear jar worls better than expected in some cases...instead of getting a drink on the way home from work, wait untill you get home...just do little things here and there...You'll see a big change...You'll also find that it may make some really needed long term habits arise...

Thanks for the idea, I do tend to swear a little bit so it will probably be very beneficial for me. Dont suppose you have any ideas on how to cut back the costs of a wedding?
