OK, I'm going to need some help on this one! What do you call those wonderful interlocking disposable plates made by Hefty that work like a zipper to store leftover food. Actually they can be used for many other things, too. You can freeze them, microwave them, and although the manufacturer probably won't like me to say this, you can even run them through the dishwasher and reuse them if you buy the white ones that are microwave-safe. The colored ones called party plates are pretty, but much less durable. What do you call these plates? Do you like them? Are they hard to find where you live? I want to know all about how people use these plates!

Thank you! But is such as very long name! Do you have a nickname for them? They do seal very well, but since I repeatedly cram mine any which way in the dishwasher, I don't trust the seal to hold as well on the ones I'm reusing, so I do put mine inside a ziplock bag before freezing. Nothing has seeped through from any of mine yet, though, so I just keep reusing the bags, too, as long as they are clean. They seem expensive if you are going to just throw them away after one use, but I actually did a little test where I marked on the the plates with the date and then washed it in the dishwasher every day for 6 months, and it didn't even warp. Of course if I use them to store ribs or spaghetti sauce or something greasy that stains, then I will throw them away. If you decide to buy a package I am eager to know how you like them!
