How Do I Lower My car Insurance?

I have a clean record, I am 31 years old,female but still a new driver, I have been driving for 4 years and the insurance payments are just too high! Any suggestions appreciated.

It generally takes time to lower your car insurance as you have to be a good driver, take a higher deductible on certain things on your insurance, try and take public transportation or carpool which could give you a low mileage discount with some companies. If you are a homeowner, having your homeowners policy and auto insurance through the same company can get you a discount on your car insurance with some agencies (Not Geico though). If you have a older car you should not have to pay as much as on a new car.

The only thing that I can suggest is to shop around...Thats what I do each year and I have saved quite a bit in just doing that.
