We saw an article which stated that Webkinz was not good for kids because it got them from being involved with physical activity to being in front of a computer fro several hours. My child however does not have that problem because my spouse and I always on Webkinz. Does anyone else love Webkinz?

Not that I or my family needs another excuse to be on the computer, but what is Webkinz?

So more mess! Kids adopt a stuffed animal and they can name it and get on line, feed it, play with it at the arcade and so on.

The site does stress that it is great to get outdoors, eat right and exercise. From that standpoint I think it's great for kids. It's a safe place for them to go and play, have some responsibility and fun!

My children all love Webkinz, They are always asking for new ones. Though I don't understand the obsession, I endulge my children, because anything on the computer and them learning to use the computer is a good thing in my book. They use the computers alot here at my home, because I home school them and alot of their lessons are done right on the computer. I limit the entertainment time on the computer to an hour a day so they don't get to play all day long.
