Is it a good idea to buy one? i want to look for one this year but I am not sure. I like the real trees but hate all the needles! Are artificial trees expensive?

I have had both. I enjoy the artificial one just as much as the real ones. I do not have to worry about it drying out and catching fire. I do not have to vacuum daily to get the needles up. I can decorate it and store it decorated if I want. The artificial ones are getting cheaper and cheaper each year. I even bought a second one for another room in my house, it is a fiber optic one and I can't wait to put it up next year.

We have an artifical tree and have had one for years. They are easier to put up and take down, we don't have to spend money every year for a tree, no needles. They may be expensive at first but saves money in the long run ya know. They're safer with kids (I think). The reason we started getting them is when we were setting up a real on long long ago, it fell over and cut my mom's eye, so we got one that's easy to set up.

We have an artificial tree, and yes, they can be expensive. But I think they pay for themselves in a few years. They are easy to put up, store, and you don't have to worry about the needles. You don't have to remember to put water in the stand, pick it out, haul it to and from your house, vacuum for weeks after you take it down lol. I love the smell of real trees, but for me the convenience is better.
