Has anyone's Yahoo mail ever been hacked?

I'm worried that my Yahoo email account may not have the highest security level. I've heard some people complaining on other message boards that their mail has been read by outsiders. Has this happened to you? Do you think this could be a real threat?

Hello,beatuyqueen26,i am also worrying about the security in my yahoo email accoount,I am not sure whether my account has veen hacked by someone,but i notice that sometimes the numbers of unread emails suddenly decreased,does it mean someone have read my email?
