Have you ever experienced Domestic Violence?

I have unfortunately. And took a number of years to get out the relationship. But i'm alot better off without him in my life.

I'm glad that you broke free. Although I've never experienced anything like that personally, my older sister was married to a man with a violent temper. Fortunately, she was able to get away, too.

Hi there again Inklings! Yes its not nice to experience this and if anyone was violent towards you i recommend to get out of it fast. I'm so glad your sister was able to get away from her husband. Take care. :)

Yes. It is an awful way to live. It is even worse for your children to witness it. I wish I would have left him years before so that my daughters would not have been exposed to it. I was sending the wrong message to my daughters by staying in the relationship. For anyone going through it, get help and get out!

Hi there and thank you for your reply. I agree children shouldn't witness violence as they will grow up and think it's ok to either do it or accept it being done to them. Its a very sad and vicious circle!
