Has anyone else read "Closing The Gap" by Jay McGraw?

I would have put this under reading, or reading books, but I think this is more of a parenting question. I am currently reading "Closing The Gap: A Strategy for Bringing Parents and Teens Together". This book is to be read by both parents and teens. I am only on Chapter 4 but I read something that will stick in my head, and should stick in the heads of all parents with teens - a sentence worth using to your teen who doesn't want to help out around the house. Because they aren't children anymore, but they aren't adults either, are they? You know what they are? They are 'ADULTS-IN-TRAINING'. That is the term I am going to use when my kids refuse to help out around the house, or want to know why they have to. I mean we all know we are trying to raise our kids to become good, decent adults but telling our kids that means very little to them. I think "Adults-in-training" will hit home a bit more for those "kids" who want to be treated like adults. What do you think?
