flowers - I would like to receive a bouquet of flowers from a special guy just like this picture.
Hello there!(",) Wow, will a guy really do that? I mean, like you, you will take time to smell a flower along the road. If it really attracts me, then I will smell it. I seldom see fragrant flowers along the road but there are nice and beautiful flowers but with no smell. I am not allergic to flowers and I would like to receive some.(",) Happy postings!(",)

You sure know alot of stuff about flowers and plants. It's a good way of bonding with your kids by teaching them how to name plants. Hope that you will pass your love for flowers and plants to your kids. Someday, they will realize how blessed they are to have a father like.(",)

I don't know about other guys. I kind of like to smell flowers since I was a kid so it's kind of stuck with me ever since..I like flowers and even as a kid, I actually had a habit of plucking some wild flowers to suck the nectar..something I learnt from the other school kids..There are many different wildflowers outside my school then.. I also like to pluck some leaves from plants and gently squeeze them to smell the leaves...I especially like the lemon grass leaves, the lemon tree leaves..They have strong citrus fragrance. I teach them to my kid whenever possible so he learns the type of plants and trees. He found a rubber tree seed this afternoon and asking to plant it in the house while I was pruning my small kumquat plant!

I like the enchanting fragrance of many flowers. But never stops / wait to take their smell while passing by. Whatever smell is available on usual movement, that is alright, I think. Taking smell of flowers directly holding it is not good for health. Thanks.

Really..!I did not know of that..I thought only if you're allergic to pollens, you should not be smelling flowers...will it be causing asthma..if you're talking about health? I can't think of other health issues?

It depends on what kind of flower.I will smell it or take close look and smell it if the flower looks attractive to me .Otherwise i won't have strong desire wanted to smell iteach time i pass them.

That's true..there is one type of wildflower, I am not sure about the name....which has a nasty smell..the locals call it "Bunga Taik Ayam"...translate to English is called " Chicken Poo Flower"..even the ants will avoid the flowers...hehe

Hello 1qazxsw2, Well, unfortunately I am not like a 'normal' woman *smile* I HATE flowers. I don't know why but never in my life that I will feel happy receiving a bouquet of flowers! I don't like to plant any and don't like the smell too *laugh* I am not allergic like your wife but just-don't-know-why LOL!

I guess some people have the same aversion to flowers as you...what did you do when a guy gave you flowers in the past...straight to the dustbin or give them to your friends...!?

I'm guilty. I do stop and smell the flowers. I love flowers and wouldn't mind working with them sometime.

Just don't pluck them and bring back home...do you? If they are wild flowers, I will but if they are in the park or someone's flower beds...of course I don't. I like wild flowers if they are abundant in the open field especially if the flowers are in yellow, white and red mix.

I do stop and sniff, but if I'm not careful a bee goes up my nose. There are really too many of them. More than once I found one suddenly buzzing close to my face and had to jump back. Flowers=bees. xD
