dear Lissaboo, that exactly the spirit even I am carrying at mylot. I send friends request to almost all the mylotters who are visible to me and are not on my friends list. It helps to add more friends, especially I get to know the views of each of them on variety of topics.

Just give it time. As prople respond to your discussions, & you respond to other people's discussions on the site, you will have more people sending you friend invites, & at the same time, you'll find people who you would want to be friends with. At the same time (from my own experience) you do need to be careful. Some people will send you spam messages, either by sending you a message, or by posting it as a comment on your profile. Anyway, I am sort of in the same situation with SKSOUTH. He is very knowledgeable about MyLot, & is a good guy. Just don't let some of the turkeys on the site get you down.
