What's the tallest building in your city?

I am from Guangzhou, China. Citic Plaza is the highest skyscraper here. It has 80 floors. It's one of the landmarks in Guangzhou. It's the second highest building in China. The first highest locates in Shanghai.

The tallest building in my city is called Torres El Faro, which is an apartment building by the river, designed by my boss, he he he. (I don't like it much, though...)

I believe it is the Stratosphere, aka Stupid's Tower after its builder, Bob Stupak. It is a casino set atop three very tall cement columns. The cement portion of the building caught fire twice while under construction before the casino was even started. When it opened there was a roller coaster that ran around the outside of the casino. On more than one occasion, parts fell off the roller coaster while it was operating.

The tallest building in Lincoln Nebraska where I live is the state capital. I doubt that there will ever be a taller building here unless they change a current law that states that no building taller than the capital may be constructed. I enjoy looking at tall buildings but I do have a bit of a fear of heights especially if I went in one and went up high and then looked out of a window. Although I would like to go mountain climbing one day I will first have to overcome my fear of heights. In what city do you live? Is it a small or mid sized city.
