How do I set up my tv and sky box so that I can record onto a standard VHS recorder? Which wires go where?

if you are using a decent tv with 2 scart sockets and your video player has a scart socket then run one scart from the sky box to the tv then then run the other scart from the tv to the video and put it in the socket which says video on, if that doesn't work the old way of doing it is with an ariel, you do yuor scart lead form the sky box to the tv and then an ariel from the tv to the vide recorder, then put a prerecoded video in the player and press play, then tune one of the tv channels into the video channel and make sure you save the channel in the tv memory, then stop the video playing and tune the video into the sky channel, honestly though your much better off getting a sky plus box they are so much more better than a video recorder, we have sky plus and could not be without it any more, i tried using virgin for a week and their service is sub standard compared to sky so i quickly switched back the sky plus box is a life saver and well worth having, plus your sky plus subscription is free if you are subscribing to the whole package. hope that is of some help to you
