ive done it...but personally, I don't believe in it. a lie is a lie.

as lie is a lie, and a joke is a joke, white lies are mostly used to cover up something unintentionally, but still it's a lie..

what is the meaning of white lies? does it mean you lie to others just because you don't want him/she to be too sad?

Sometimes there are also other reason why people say these things as long they think its for the good cause.
