Implanting microchips in people?

United States

Has anyone heard of a company called Verichip out of Florida? They make microchip about the size of a grain of rice. They have implanted over 1,000 people in Mexico with these chips for different purposes like identification and tracking. A couple of states have already tried to pass laws banning the implantation of these chips in people. What do you think? I am okay with carrying a drivers license and having a social security card, but I think a microchip implanted in your skin is going WAY too far.

There's no way I would ever allow the government to implant some chip in me. If the US government decides to pass that law, which I believe they will someday, then I will move out of this country. It's wrong. I shouldn't be tracked everywhere I go, while I think it would reduce crime it's not fair and it goes against human rights. By why not right? The government seems to enjoy taking away our freedom.

It is absolutely wrong to do these on one's person.
