I would choose sachin tendulkar Adam Gilchrist jaques kallis herschell gibbs nathan astle Even though adam gilchrist comes under wicket keeper, i feel that he is one of the best hitters of the cricket ball around at the moment. He can be a nightmare to bowlers when is in full flow.

In my dream test match I will select the following 5 batsman:- 1-Rahul Dravid:-Ruhul Dravid is the best player in those circumstances.He is a good defensive batsman and is highly suitable for test match conditions.He is also known as "The great wall"due to his defensive style of batting. 2-Yousuf Youhanna:-This Pakistani batsman is day by day improving his play and has also been selected as the top 10 ODI batsman in test rankings.He is a good middle order batsman and can take his team out of trouble by his batting skills. 3-Kevin Pietersen:-Apart from being a attacking batsman he does not give his wicket to the opposite team easily.He has many records under his name and he is also able to play big and important innings when his team needs it.So,He is also one of the important players of my dream team. 4-Mathew Hayden:-He has also served his nation,Australia with great cricket in all the three compartments of the game.His left handed batting makes it hard or any bowler in the world to take his wicket away.He is one of best opening batsman in the world currently. 5-Ricky Ponting:-This Australian top order batsman has given his team many glorious moments not only being the captain of the team but also by his regular nice performance.I will keep Ricky Ponting as the captain of my dream team as he is also rated as the world's best captain.
