...do they replace it later? They should be and be obliged to fixed it as soon as possible to avoid aggravation of damage.

I would sincerely hope that the SWAT team never comes to my house and certainly not break the door down. If they did, I would expect them to fix it back to the way it was ASAP so as not to leave my house open to thieves, as I would have been innocent of any wrong-doing and undeserving of such activity. :-)
