Do you read books or magazines from front to back or the other way around back to front? Some culture they read it from back to front right? while me when i read magazines i flip through pages that interest me first, like browse for pictures first then start again from the front to back. what about you?

usually it depends on what type of material i'm reading.if it is a novel, most probably i'll skip first 20-30 pages (at least), if it's a sports magazine, i'll start from tennis or soccer articles, if it's a newspaper, i start from back to front. i also look out for catchy stuffs first in women's magazines.

I flick through and find the articles that intrest me most. I read them first then begin to read the whole magazine from front to back. Of course i often give up lol.

Maybe I am such very different from others cause i read a magazine from a center to front then from front to back. That is how I do open any magazine and I just dont know why, I am doing that until now.

Wow, you are unique. But I think it's ok to do that when reading magazines. It's a bit hard when you're reading a book and you've already missed something from the first chapters, you know what I mean?

I read books front to back, but for magazines, I tend to flip around a lot. I will skim through until I find something that catches my interest and read that first. Or if there is an article mentioned on the cover that caught my eye, I will go to that first.

When it comes to books, I read the synopsis first then the first page going to the last page. As for magazines, I scan the table of contents first then I just read whatever article that catch my interest =)

Hi there. When reading a magazine, I usually read it front to back... Especially books, I prefer to read them front to back also... I like to read the story and not jump straight to the end...

I read magazines usually from the topic that interest me most before I go from front to back. Sometimes, I scan it first from back to front too before I start reading.

I read newspapers from back to front. Why? Because when I was younger, that's the part I could get first. My Mom had one part and my Dad had another part. Then when I became old enough to get a job, I read the classifieds (in the back) first. Magazines, sometimes I look back to front because the best stuff if usually in the back or middle. Then if it's a story I start at the beginning and go forward. Books I start in the front and go to the end.

I read books from front to back. It's different how I read a magazine. It really depends on what magazine it is. Sometimes I read it like a book, sometimes I only flip through a magazine and read what looks interesting to me, sometimes I read the last site first to see what will be in the next issue (okay, it's not always @ the last site but often),.... it's very various

Front to back. And I have to read each and every section no matter what. That's why I always have to make time to read. If I'm in a hurry, and I'm browsing through a fashion mag, I sometimes look at the photos first.

i too usually skip to the bits that catch my attention then go back to read bits i may have missed. But i never read every single thing it i , if it doesn't interest me much i'll just glance over it and move on.

I usually read books from front to back; guess that's typical. But when I read mystery/adventure books and I like the main character so much, and he's in a situation where I haven't the vaguest idea if he'd survive, I couldn't help it but read the very last page to see if he made it. :) When I read mags, though, I first check out the topics and read the ones that interest me.
