Can there be a home without kitchen?

It is exasperating to wash dishes after a day's work of exhaustion and then cook food. Is there any vegetarian food set alternative? What do the astronauts survive on? What do you eat when you are exhausted and are not in a mood to cook? I have tried to survive on milk, bananas, biscuits. But failed. Boild rice seems to be compulsory for my stomach.

I can't imagine a home without kitchen,my friend. In my personal opinion,a kitchen in a home is not only a place for cooking but also a place family memebers can share love with each other. I like doing housework in my kitchen. When I see my parents and I are preparing for our dinner in the kitchen,I do feel warm and happy.Doing housework in the kitchen is an approach to express your love to your parents and family memebers.

I agree with you. Family members can share their love in dining room, reading room, TV or living room, apart from kitchen. Working in kitchen is a good filler when we have spare time. I referring to situations when we are unable to our time to cooking, when we have heavy office work or when we take up something special such as writing a serious book. I feel that millions of women are to be freedom from the drudgery of cooking every day. IN a society, this is a duplication of work and wastage of resources. If there is a home-delivery service for breakfast and dinner in every locality (lunch is often taken at office or work place), resources can be saved. But there will be a problem of monotony. This monotony can be reduced by providing for flexibility. There can be a provision for cancelling the home delivery on a given day by sending a message to the community kitchen over mobile or net. If women and men are to be really equal, they should be truly equal, at least 90%. I appeal to you to read the three pieces written by Virginial Woolf in her book "A Room of one's own". It will give you great delight. After reading it, please also let me share your valued comments on the views expressed by Woolf.

I can't imagine if a house without a kitchen. I will go crazy. Astronauts? They have special food that created just for them. You may find out from space.com. Previously when I am working and exhausted, I will usually buy and eat at home. If all the shops had closed. I have lots of instant noodle, frozen instant food, cereal at home. I just need to put in the microwave and that is it!

I try to keep the following on hand - sandwich fixings (can be served on a napkin), cold cereal, tortillas - with cheese or beans or peanut butter.

Thank you very much. Tortillas are something like "chapatis" we use in India everyday. Chapatis in our country last for about 2/3 days without refrigeration. They become dry later and become difficult to munch. Can you enlighten me something about cold cereals - how they are made etc.?
