I am an author, and have been writing for over 20 years. I finished my first novel back in 2000, and since have written 7 books. I am currently under contract with Dream Catcher Publishing Inc. They will be publishing the fourth book I wrote back in 2002, and this will be my first book I have ever publsihed. I love writing. It is not always the words you put down on paper, but how you arrange them. Sometimes I write so quickly that I find myself having misspelled many words (thank God for word processing and spell checks. LOL) Anyhow, Who else here is a writer? Who esle also is getting published, or is already published?

Congrats on getting your book published. I'm not a writer myself. I don't think I could just sit down and write a book. But I think that people that can do that are so talented. My friend can do that and she has written lots of stuff. She's never had them published but she keeps them saved on her computer and on disks. So maybe in the future she'll get them published.

Ask her if she wants to get them publsihed. It was a dream of mine. I love writing. Give your friend a nudge, and have her print them and send them to agents and publsihers...(Of course she should edit them as much as she can before she does that. By the way that is the hardest part. Your own editing is okay but a publisher telling you need to do an overhaul...shew what a learning experience. LOL. By the way the name of my book is Dimensional Perception my name is the same as above..WR Curtis Jr. (my real name is Walker Randolph Curtis Jr. I'm sure you can see why I shortened it LOL) you can take a look at the cover if your interested at dreamcatcherpublishing.net. The ocver has grown on me, but writers never get to pick their own cover, and worse yet their own title. I am happy to say that I chose the name of the book though. my website if your interested is wrcurtisjr.net and is currently being fixed. Please nudge your friend, even though there are millions of writers, there just aren't enough to be honest.

Congratulations on getting published on the net. I am a fiction writer, but I believe all forms of writing is not just important to society but essential to the future of mankinds learning process. I have two children of my own so put aside a half hour a day just to write. It would help tremendoulsy and next you know you'll have a children's book finished and you'll be thanking yourself, because you'll want to keep writing.
