I used to not get along with my brother at all. We would fight like cats and dogs. But as we get older, I'm almost 24 and he's almost 21, we can talk like civilazed adults and we can confide in each other. I'm very happy about this because I used to be so afraid we would never get along and hate each other forever. It probably makes my mother a whole lot happier too. I truely believe in family and love and it warms my heart to have my brother close to me finally. Do you get along with your siblings as adults?

I wish I could say I get along with my brother, but I dont. There is a ten year age difference( I am 35 he is 45) so growing up we were never close. As we got older we tried to get along but because we didnt interact as kids it was very hard to do. Then when my grandparents passed away I was given their home as part of a inheritance and it ultimately destroyed my brother and I. He listened to other members of the family and now wont speak to me. I hope that one day we can forgive and forget.

That's really too bad. My mom's family is alot like that. I wish comunication came to us, as humans, naturally. If we could just talk to each other instead of Stewing things wouldn't be so hard. Thanks.

You know, we're not all adults yet but my sisters and I get along a lot better now than we did when we were younger. Most of the time, we were either fighting or just not interacting with each other. I am nearly 24 as well and my younger sisters are 18 and 16. We do actually get along a lot better; I know my sisters call me from time to time to actually talk to me or get advice instead of our bickering. It's really nice to know that my sisters and I get along like that, finally.
