Have you ever gotten a compliment on your hair or makeup etc when really you either didn't do anything or it is left over from the night/day before and didn't get a chance to "re-do"? That happened to me today. I didn't have a real chance to put on my makeup this morning so I just put coverup - However, you could still see my eyeliner etc from the day before. So many people complimented me! lol Has this happened to you? Did you let them know it was old or just appreciate the laziness of it all?

Well, yeah. My hair gets a lot of compliment because of it's beautiful shine. In fact, I only shampoo my hair every other day.

Yes abou my hair, since I have a thin hair and it is already rebonded now and straight, I seldom or sometimes I never used to comb it but It is not obviously look like that I never did. My friends used to great my hair that it is well arrange even without a touch of a comb.

*envy* Although I don't have to comb my hair MUCH which gets the same reaction - I still have to use it sometimes ;)

I do remember getting a compliment on my hair in the Fall of 2005 from my brother-in-law. I just kind of looked at him funny because I hadn't done anything different to it. My hair has been the same for 10 years. I remember the day I was taking DH to meet my parents and tell them that I was pregnant. When we walked in the door my father commented on how slim I looked. I sneered at him as if he was being sarcastic but he said, "No, you really look good." I then just blurted it out that I was pregnant. Really hadn't planned on saying it so soon. We were barely in the front door!

haha - guys are so clueless sometimes! Although the hair thing is funny - the lost weight is just like... ok, what are you trying to get away with?!?

You could say I got a compliment like that! After a sleepover party at my place a male friend of mine complimented me right when we had woken up. I hadn't bothered removing my makeup from the night before, or done anything to my hair so it made me really happy. :D

...hmm..yes, i also experienced the same when i was still studying..in school, we are required to wear make up as part of our "uniform"...but i was no that happy with the compliments..!!! because it's kinda nuisance..if i wear make up and got to have a "retouch", my classmates could not notice it...but if i wont, then they will see the make up..isn't it weird..???

Very Weird - although I also find it odd that make up was part of the uniform. What did you study- if you don't mind me asking.

haha yeah - I had something like that happen once. I had gone running and had just combed my hair and started walking to class one day. Well - on the way I saw one of the customers that comes into my shop a lot. He stopped me to compliment my "new" hair cut. Oi - it was because my bangs were all a mess and going everywhere! lol

I haven't had anyone compliment me on it from the night before. But I have had people say I don't know what you did to your makeup but it looks so good. And I do the same thing each day. I guess it just looks better some days. LOL

Isn't that odd? You can wear the same lip gloss every day around the same people and suddenly someone coos lol

I actually seem to get the most compliments on my hair when I have done nothing to it! It mystifies me, because I'll feel that it's all tangled and annoying, and other people will be like "Oh such pretty curly hair!" When all the time I'm thinking how many hours it's going to take to get the tangles out! I don't really do the makeup thing anymore, so I don't know on that one.

The hair thing is a PERFECT example though. It feels so weird/good to know that just leaving it as is, is good enough. I have gotten the hair thing in an early morning class before. You know - when the alarm didn't go off but you have a test first thing? lol

This has not happened to me. But, I know that it feels nice to get such a compliment. Since you wouldn't be expecting any response, you would be flattered to hear such stuff.

I got up late one day for work and didn't have time to shower and do my hair. I quickly sprinkled water on it and tried to kinda shape it and it looked like I had spiked it. Everyone thought it was so cute. I didn't share any information with them LOL

Yes, sometimes you don't even do your best on applying makeup and it comes out better than if you take the time to apply it perfectly. I had a compliment once about my makeup which kind of surprised me because I was hardly wearing any.
