Do you ever open mail that is not yours?

Have you ever opened mail that is not your? I open my husband's mail all the time, but I handle all the household things like bill payments and stuff and he just preferes it that way. If he gets some mail thathe needs to look at I bring it to his attention. Sometimes we will get mail in our mail box that is not for either of us, but has been put in our mailbox by mistake. Has this ever happened to you? What did you do with the mail? Did you return it to the post office? Did you just throw it away? Did you write return to send on it and put it in a mailbox? Or did you open it out of curiosity? I have never kept mail that did nto belong to myself or my husband but I have been tempeted at times to open envelopes that have arrived in my mailbox with a strange name on them. Has this ever happened to you?

I open my husband's, children's, and my mail. I am curious about different mail that does get delived to my address by mistake I just haven't had the courage to open one.

No, I have never opened a mail that is not mine. It would not be a crime to open someone else's mail, in my opinion, but I prefer to respect others. Here, usually those who receive the mails are my mother and my father. My mother uses to open all mails that arrive, even those who belong to my father. He doesn't care, since sometimes she pays the bill.
I hardly ever receive any mail, but when I do, my mother deliver it to me without opening. And, sometimes, when a mail gets here by mistake, we return it to the mail man, without opening it. As you said, sometimes we get tempted to open somebody else's mail... but I don't use to do it.

I love getting and opening mail so I open all of my and my husband's mail. I usually don't open mail sent to our address in error unless it keeps coming over and over. Then I will open it and see if there is a number I can call to tell whatever place it is coming from that they have the wrong address.

I am very happy whenever i receive a mail addressed to me. :) --But that rarely happens.
In the office, i am authorized to open mails that is addressed to the company directly. I am also the one who collects mails from the Company's Post box so i usually filter and distributes mails. I return mails to the post office that are not addressed to us.
