Are you more content now than 5 years ago?

Compare the life situation you find yourself in now to the one you were in 5 years ago. Are you more or less content overall? Or is your love life much better now than it was but your financial situation worse. Has any of what you longed for 5 years ago come to pass? And has it been as good as you expected it to be, or maybe better? Or perhaps worse and you are sorry you got what you wished for!
For myself, 5 years ago I was in a job I did not like so much. Now my job is extremely satisfying and rewarding but does not pay as much in relative terms so financially I am worse off. Fortunately my husband makes up the shortfall.
Relationship wise, I had not quite met my husband 5 years ago and I was dating a rather nice guy, but not as nice as my husband!
My hearts' desire 5 years ago would have been to have a child...I have one now...say no more.
What about you?

yes i am more satisfied now than 5 years ago. i had been trough a lot of hardship, heartaches and badluck. and now i can stand proud and say i made it through the rain.
i am happy with my kids, im a single parent working hard, not easy but happy. Thank God.

My kids are getting older now...and the expenses are getting bigger...but I am more happy now cause they can help me and at the same time i have a good job and little business to take care for my family.
