Terminal of Life....

Blog Posted: November 25,2007 *My family and I have attended the burial mass of my sister's father in law yesterday and It was a quite peaceful one because it seems like the members of the family have accepted their father's death whole heartily already. Tears were flowing of course but I guess those were tears of " acceptance ". The cause of death was cancer of the liver and other complicated areas of the body has already been affected too. What touched me most was the priest's homily for he have tackled about the 'terminal of life'. We all have our own destinations in life and that it begins when we existed here on earth. He pointed out that when he was on his way for the said mass, he have noticed several vehicles stranded on the side of the road. He notices some drivers or passengers were busy calling for help and others are talking on the phone asking for assistance too. An old bus he noted, a brand new CRV too was there not exempted for the troubles they've encountered on their way for their destinations. Whatever conditions of your car or of how new or old it is, it's possible that such common problems may occur on the road. Each delayed of the trip has its own reasons why we are experiencing it. Just like our journey here on earth that at some point in our life wherein we can encounter the so called 'delays' on our trip, that sad to say there are actually some of us who may not be able to proceed to our destinations because we can no longer bear or overcome the delay that had caused us which is DEATH. We should not fear death for the priest noted that it is not the ultimate or final terminal in our lives. Guess who is our ultimate terminal in life? The answer is JESUS! Our Final Destination in life all ends up to Him and death is just one of the pit stops on the race. All our sacrifices, our troubles, worries and everything ends with Him. Life is fair and Isn't it wonderful?. Have a blessed life to all of us!
