Does anyone have (or had) a Nokia 6102i cell phone?

I have Cingular cell service, and I live in a big city so you would think I would get great reception. Well, I have really crappy service, and I'm starting to wonder if it's my phone. I have had this phone for a year now, and since I got it I never really have a full signal. I can't recall if my previous cell phone had good reception or not, but I know I had a ton of dropped calls. I should be able to use my phone in my house, and half of the time (read: ALL OF THE TIME!) I have to go outside on the porch or deck to talk. It's really annoying and starting to get on my nerves. I thought about going and getting a new phone, but wouldn't want to waste money on a new phone if it's the network itself, and not the phone. Can anyone tell me if they have used this phone, and if so did you notice any difference with signal strength and usage in certain places. If i lived in the country or something then I could understand why the phone would act up, but I live in a big city and Cingular is very popular.
