DATED: Nov. 04, 2006 Eerr, I am some sort of "hesitant" to post this 'something' that I wanted to share to everyone. I actually do not know where to start.? .? First thing would be, YOU, asking me that question why I titled my recent post "DESTINY"?.? As they say, Destiny is not a matter of chance but .." CHOICE".Which is true right?. You as an individual makes and follows your own destiny. You take consequences for sure that is why I wanted to share this to all of you guys and hope that you'll learn something from it! Here goes my story:I was able to contact one of my lost friends a few weeks ago. (only thru text 'coz she's not staying here in my place for now..) We actually got excited knowing the "what's the latest?" between the two of us. In the middle of our ' texting ' thing, she was able to mention about her situation at present. I took it at first as a joke coz I'm used to it when we're together as co-workers. I confronted her and ask if it's for real and she told me that it is...She texted the details of her story and I was really shocked when I've found out that she's going to be a single mom soon...I didn't expect it from her. Not that I'm judging her for what she have done but to what kind of life she is about to face in the future and the hardships she's going through right now. Don't know what to say and even what to do. She was telling me that she can make it. With the help of others thru prayers and the unconditional love and support her family is giving to her . I can say that she's s indeed a very strong person. That if I'm in her shoes, I may not be able to go through it..I just don't know how will I ever survived if it's me in her position. It's so hard to become a single parent huh?. That is why I salute her! Because she's taking that responsibility alone. She chose that destiny in life, as a single mom that I know for sure it will not be as easy as 123 but she continued to fight for her baby's sake. We really can never tell what our future will be. It totally depends on how u handle your life at present. So, whatever decisions you make, be willing to take the risk and deal with it
