I am a Blood Donor...

I was been a blood donor for a long period of time. I was more than a blood galloner already meaning my donations to the RED CROSS was more than a gallons. I do believe that being a blood donor is a noble cause for surely your blood can save lives. How about you? Did you share your blood to the RED CROSS. If not, why?

Actually, I never donated Blood. It's not that I don't like, nor that I don't want... I just never did. I don't have quite interest in donating blood, but I think I'll start donating as soon as I reach 18 years. Donating blood is a very good way of saving lifes. I'd be happy to know that someone else is using my blood to survive, while I wouldn't need the blood I donated. It's always good to help others, isn't it?

Yes, its true dont worry RED CROSS will strart accepting blood donors at age 17. And remember this it is better to donate than to be a recipient....lol

I though I could already donate, but it seems like I was wrong... Well, do you know that there are some religions against blood donating? I know one, and for that religion, blood is the same as life... So, when you donate or receive blood, it's like if you were giving or receiving a life, and goes against their concept.

I did donate my blood once and did not do it ever again because of those needles. It is really hard to find my veins because they are so tiny.

Hope they can find it now? Why not give another try, for all you know blood letting will really saves life. lots of people just die because there were no blood deposit in the blood banks or in the red cross.
