I don't recognize my friends on My Lot! What's with all the new avatars?

Hi there, well changing the avatars here is really up to the owner of those accounts. As me, i am using my own pic as my avatar and i am not using any other avatars, or cartoon pics. Have a nice day ahead from Kiko and happy posting and earning here.

Lol. I think everyone's changed their avatar or those who havn't are wanting to. I too feel like i'd just registered with a new site with all the new people.

I know this discussion is old, but I am getting ready to change my avatar. Sometime this week I plan on putting up a new picture of my son. You should still be able to recognize me! My picture of my son will just be more current. lol The picture I'm going to use is from when he was 18 months old (beginning of August), so it is 6 months newer than the one I currently have.

Oh I haven't changed my avatars since I have joined and I don't think I will change my avatar as long as I am here. I agree with you that it would be rather difficult to remember our friends here and respond to their discussions. I am really bad with names and I usually go with the icons.

I feel the same problem. I can't recognize them immediately after they change their avatars. I recognize them after some time when I read their posts. Fortunately I still remember some discussions from my friends.

yes you are right, many people change their avatar as their mood...... but i have a cute boy as avtar/picture since i entered mylot,,,,,,,, i think my0 friends will recognise my discussions with this avtar,if i change it , they will confuse and i get less response to my discussions, Kkittu:)

Must be something in the air. Mine has been the same since I started myLot, but I've been thinking about changing it the last few days...

hehehe I did change my avatar. There was a time I lost it. Mylot glitch probably, I don't know. But I deleted it and put the new one. I like my new avatar, but if I find better ones I will change it again. Don't be confused :) it's still me!

Ummm just for the sake of change LOL I got tired of seeing a picture of me so I've changed it twice already over the last week LOL

I just changed mine a few days ago. I just had my daughters pictures made and got excited so I changed my avatar. I didn't think about how it would confuse everyone. I'll keep it the same for a while to cut down on confusion lol.

Hi beautyqueen.I had this problem when i joined mylot newly.So i planned to remember them by thire users names.Everytime i respond to their discusssions i start saying hi....in this way i practiced to remember their names and no more worry now.

I used to frequent changesof avatars, because I like so many things, however, since a friend for thd avatar,I didn't recognize him, I think if I changed, others may not be able to recognize me, I rarely want.Hence ,I don't changed.
