I missed my chance!

Just read an article about a Spanish Hotel that was getting ready to renovate the inside of their rooms. Rather than hiring demolition crews to do tear down the inside, they allowed 30 stressed out people to take out their frustrations with sledgehammers and smash to their hearts content.
Why wasn't I invited. Would anyone else have had a good time doing this?

Except it appears that the article I read wasn't complete. I don't think they should have destroyed furniture and things that others could have used. I know homeless shelters who would love to have the beds.

oh I thought that was just the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life. They let them smash beds ? , lamps. TV's . Gosh why didn't they sell that stuff first or give it away to the needy. Then let the people come in a smash the walls and other unmovable stuff.
Seems like a colossal waste to me .
And some studies say expressing your anger this way only breeds more anger. It does not dissipate at all .

I didn't know they had let them smash all that stuff. The article that I read was talking about them knocking out walls.
As for the anger issue, I could see that in some people. I have to do something physical when I get angry, to release frustration. I tend to scrub the bottoms of pans. Sometimes, I get out the push mower and walk over grass that's already been mowed and gripe to my hearts content....only God can hear me.

I wouldn't have the energy to wield a sledgehammer! I am sure that there are many who would love to get their frustrations out on a wall of plaster!

I'm not sure I'd have the energy to wield a sledgehammer either. But I guarantee you, that if I could get my hands on something smaller, that I would have an absolute ball smashing windows and bathroom fixtures etc...

My grandmother used to get mad at my grandfather, and she would bake bread. If we ever came into the house, and she was pounding dough...we always turned around and went right back out again.
