I try to be myself no matter what I'm talking about- If I started to lose friends here on mylot- that would be bad- but I can't and won't change my feelings- I can't see people changing what they say here- after all it is just our opinions that we post- so nope I don't censor myself- I say what I think and feel. If I offend people- I'm sorry- I do not think I've offended anyone yet! or at least too many people : )

That is so true! And, I have found that the best way to attract real friends on this place and not just fakers is to be yourself. If you put up a false front the fakers find you. And, they try to change you. That never works out. Just be true to yourself and they will leave you alone.

I don't really "censor" myself on here. But I don't really need to. I've come across a few of...those people who have nothing better to say than name call and it's really funny. If they get proven wrong they start trying to call you whatever they can think of while avoiding the actual conversation. I could think of plenty horrible things to say but I don't because I'm not 12 and resort to name calling when I've got nothing better to say. I guess I do censor myself a little bit, ha.

It's amazing to see how quickly a full grown adult can revert to the third grade level when challenged. I see it everyday on this place. I've often wondered if the name callers really could be kids. Guess that could explain their behavior.

You'd be surprised who snitches around this place. Watch your back. Even if someone doesn't report you, they spread rumors behind your back and suddenly everyone starts avoiding your discussions. That totally happened to me.

I don't think I normally say anything that would need to be censored. I am always careful because I don't want to offend people in the first place. I dislike confrontation, so that may be the reason. My wife says I need to learn to speak up for myself more. I know she is right, but I have a hard time doing that.

I am happy that you have such a pleasant nature. Must make it easy to make friends online. Sometimes it works out where I will post a topic that really hits a nerve. And, ends up being offensive. And, I'm not usually an offensive person. So, not sure why things are taken that way. I guess it's harder to get some things across online than in person. Thanks for dropping by.

I really don't censor myself much at all. I give my opinion in my post. Isn't that what it's all about getting different opinions from different people it's what makes myLot and life interesting.

I generally don't censor myself. I'm usually direct and I don't have to swear a lot to get a point across. While I could be careful, most of the time I never have to worry about it because what I've said doesn't offend anyone. It is something to consider though without question.

I am usually careful to watch what I say in all aspects of my life. I'm not a confrontational person. Although I can hold my own when need be. But if a confrontation can be avoided I do my best to steer clear of it. Iam always concerned that I will upset others or hurt others so I just keep my my mouth shut most times whether its a stranger or a friend or family member.

I do light censoring of myself, but really no. You get 90-95% pure Pro on the discussions. Some people don't like my opinion. Tough. Its a forum, you express your opinions and thoughts. Don't like it, go find one where you can yesman until you are blue in the face. I'm gonna be me, and I'm not changing or censoring for anyone. Profanity, yes of course plus I really dislike using it anyways. But pure thought and opinion, no, absolutely not. And if you don't like me for what I express that's your right. At least have the courage to face me about it if there your grievance with me is that bad. Don't be a coward.
