Hi there, I recommend Marketiva because its the main Broker(better term than Firms) that I am trading with. Like all other brokers it provide free virtual money $10,000. But its charting is nothing to shout about, as a matter of fact, the worst i have came across. But it give you $5 of real money to trade with. Not a big sum but I dont see any Broker doing that (not counting Virtual money). But the biggest advantage i see is that Marketiva allows its clients to trade with any amount of money. Example if you trade 1,000 units you are trading with $0.10 per pip. Not any broker allows this. On what is pip and other terms, you have got to take some courses in forex. Hope my views help.

As someone already said Babypips.com is a great site for learning, its not only very good for that but great fun too, they got some serious sense of humour there. Another great site is forexfactory.com On Forexfactory you can find all major economic news scheduled. Also have a look at Oanda..its another trading platform but they have some tools that no other broker has, for example the have graphs about orders made and graphs with integrated news links so that you can see what actually happens on the charts just after some news is being released. Have fun!
